CABLE LAYING WHEEL AUTOMATICALLY PASSING THROUGH RIGID BODY PART

PURPOSE:To achieve a structure for mounting/dismounting a passing support reliably on/from a shoe chain by a constitution wherein the passing support is mounted/dismounted on/from the shoe chain through a mounting/dismounting means and a rigid body part is passed through while being supported by means of the passing support mounted on the shoe chain. CONSTITUTION:A mounting/dismounting means 22 advances to a position slightly in front of a mounting position A and temporarily stops thereat. A position detecting sensor 34 then advances to a position where a limit switch 34 mounted at the leading end thereof opposes to a groove in a shoe chain 13 in the mounting position A. The position sensor 34 then makes an X motion untill the limit switch 34 comes into contact with the inner wall of the groove in the shoe chain 13 thus detecting the position of the shoe chain 13 correctly and performing final positioning of the mounting position A. Subsequently, a mounting/dismounting means 22c is positioned in thus determined mounting position A and then makes an advance to mount a passing support 10w on the shoe chain 13 while pressing thereto.
