<p>PURPOSE:To reduce communication controller testing time at the time of testing plural communication controllers by successively transferring a test signal inputted to a prescribed communication controller to other communication controllers and returning the signal to the prescribed communication controller through the same route in the opposite direction. CONSTITUTION:A test signal generated by the test signal generating section 7 of a testing section 6 is outputted from a transmitting terminal 1b through a communication controller la and inputted to another communication controller 2a through a receiving terminal 2c. After the signal is read by the section 6, the signal is transmitted from a transmitting terminal 3b through a signal transmission line 9a and a communication controller 3a and inputted to a communication controller 4a through a receiving terminal 4c. After the signal is read by the section 6, the signal is returned from a signal transmission line 9b and outputted from a transmitting terminal 4b through the controller 4a. Thereafter, the test signal is returned to the first controller la through the same route in the opposite direction and sent to a comparing section 8 from the controller 1a. The section 8 compares the returned test data with the first inputted data and, when they coincide with each other discriminates that all communication controllers are normal. When they do not coincide with each other, the section 8 discriminates that one of the controllers is abnormal.</p> |
