<p>PURPOSE:To obtain superior responsiveness and stability and to accelerate the travel speed of a tape and the switching of a mode by arranging an arm driving means and an arm position detecting means at a tension arm, and varying a targeted tension value. CONSTITUTION:When the torque of a motor 10 is slightly high, the tension arm 3 is moved in a direction of arrow head A1, and a voltage in accordance with that movement is detected by a position detector. The output of the position detector 301 is compared with a reference voltage 302, and is sent to an arm motor control system Ac and a reel motor control system Rc as a position error voltage. Output passing a differential amplifier 304, a proportional amplifier 305, and an integral amplifier 306 is MIXed, and the output on which an offset voltage 307 in accordance with targeted tension is added is amplified at a motor driving circuit 308, and is applied to the motor 10, therefore, a motor driving current can be reduced corresponding to a case where the torque of the motor is slightly high and the arm 3 is moved in the direction of arrow head A1. Similarly, an operation is performed so as to increase the driving current of the reel motor 314 corresponding to inversion and the above action in the reel motor control system Rc.</p> |
