<p>A two-part ostomy bag assembly has a patient fitment (2) comprising a plate (20) with an adhesive rear surface adhered on the skin (3) around with stoma (4). The front surface (23) of the plate is of PVC and non-adhesive. An annular flange (25) with a rear surface of PVC is welded around its inner edge of the plate (20), leaving its outer edge free. The bag (1) itself is w.c. disposable, having an adhesive disc (16) secured to the inside wall (12) of the bag around its opening (5) which, in use, is secured to the front surface of the flange (25) on the patient fitment (2). <IMAGE></p> |
