PURPOSE:To enable the operation by low voltage by making the polarizing directions of the regions, which are formed by division in electric-mechanical energy conversion elements, uniform in the same thickness direction, and applying such driving voltage that the directions of electric fields vary from each other to these divisions. CONSTITUTION:A first drive C, which comprises an insulator 9, electrodes 10, 11, and 13, and a piezoelectric element plate 12, and a second drive D, which comprises an insulator 14, electrodes 15, 16, and 18, and a piezoelectric element 17, have uniform polarizing directions in the thickness direction, and are divided into a pair of regions, and have piezoelectric element plates (electric-mechanical energy conversion elements) 12 and 17, respectively, of such an electrode structure that the directions of electric fields falling on these divisions are reverse, and these electric-mechanic energy conversion elements 12 and 17 are formed as mentioned above in two regions wherein the boundaries of the divisions cross each other at approximately right angles. Hereby, the effective regions of the piezoelectric element plates 12 and 17 can be obtained to the maximum, and it becomes possible to operate it with low voltage. |
