PURPOSE:To prevent products from being made into defective products by detecting the projection of a work on both side edges in the moving direction of a table and detecting the deviation of the work. CONSTITUTION:The work 2 is imposed on a table 1 and is moved back and forth in an X-axis direction. A Y-axis unit 3 is disposed on the table 1 across columns 4 and is provided in a Y-axis direction. Detectors 9 are provided on both side edges in the moving direction of the table 1 and the projection of the work 2 is detected by these detectors. The deviation of the work 2 is detected by a means D for detecting the work deviation. The laser beam machine which is good in product yield and is trouble-free is provided in this way. |
