PURPOSE:To enable automation of flange press-fitting treatment by providing a press-fitting section. a flange supply section, a height adjusting member, and a piston in the press-fitting device for mounting a cylindrical flange which has large inside diameter at both ends of a cylinder such as a photo-sensitive drum. CONSTITUTION:This flange press-fitting device is provided with a press-fitting section 2 which press-fits a flange 4 into a cylinder 1 and a flange supply port 31. The press-fitting section 2 is provided with a height adjusting member 5 which moves in the direction where the central axis of the flange 4 is deviated from the central axis of the cylinder 1 and a piston 6 which presses the flange 4 in the press-fitting direction into the cylinder 1. When the press-fitting treatment of the flange 4 is done by this press-fitting device, the flange 4 in a storage section 3 is supplied to the press-fitting section 2 and moved in the press-fitting direction. A part of it enters the inside of the cylinder 1. At this time, as the central axis of the cylinder and that of flange 4 are deviated, the part which enters does not contact the inner wall of the cylinder 1. After this, when the flange 4 is moved in the direction where its central axis matches with that of the cylinder 1, an earth terminal piece 41 is mounted. |
