The plumb line is used in conjunction with a support which contains a counterbalance to free hands of the use for other operations. The support includes an automatic winding system for the plumb line. An angle section element (4) is attached under the housing (1) to ensure that the string (7) axis is at greater distance than radius of the plumb weight (9) from this elements. The line is wound on the throat (21) of a pulley (22) to which the end (9) of a blade spring (13) engages. The spring is wound so that other end (16) engages a control axis (17) and acts against action of plumb weight.
