<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a supporting structure necessary for passing through a rigid body part and to suppress enlargement of rotary diameter due to a passing support as low as possible by an arrangement wherein the passing support is used integrally and a pair of passing supports are used while being classified for line side and for wire side according to the length in linear part and the profile in curved part. CONSTITUTION:At first, a shoe chain drum 12 stops at a predetermined count fed from an encoder based on a starting timing obtained from a protector diameter detecting means 32. A mounting/dismounting means 22c then performs X motion to be positioned at a mounting position A and then performs Y motion to mount a passing support 10w on a shoe chain 13 while pressing thereto. When the length of a split wire 2d is shorter than the winding length around the shoe chain drum 12, a protector 4 at the front end of a wire 1 must be passed during passage of the protector 4 at the rear end of the wire 1. Consequently, the mounting/dismounting means 22c, 22d perform similar motion while passing the protector 4 at the rear end of the wire 1 thus passing the protector 4 at the front end of the wire 1.</p> |
