This hydraulic safety and control system for the supply of steam to a turbine has a rapid-closure valve and a steam governing valve (4, 3) and a pipe system monitored by a safety discharge unit (22). The intention is to provide a hydraulic safety and control system which is simple to construct and has a markedly reduced number of possible leakage points.
