PURPOSE:To obtain the code featuring a short necessary code length to the sameburst error correction capacity by applying the interleave with every minor group of the b-digit as well as the coding on the Galois field GF(2<b>). CONSTITUTION:The binary information put into input terminal 1 is transferred to the code on GF(2<b>), i.e., C5 coder 2 to be coded with the b-digit defined as one group. And this output is transferred to temporary memory unit 3 to be held until code word C5 of the j-group is accumulated. When word C5 is accumulated, it is then transferred to C6 coder 4 with addition of error detection code r6 and then buffed at C7 coder 5 to be transmitted to the communication path or the memory unit from output terminal 6 in the form of code word C7. |
