PURPOSE:To reduce producing of deleterious component in the exhaust gas, by manufacturing a whole or a part of upper portion above the position for the top ring to be inscribed at the piston top deat center with a ceramic construction, and improving the heat retaining property in the combustion chamber at the combustion stroke. CONSTITUTION:When a piston to slide inside cylinder liner 7 is at top deat center, coating of ceramic 12 is applied inner surface of cylinder liner 7 where is above the top ring 13 of the piston 3, the heat retaining property in the combustion chamber at the time that the piston 3 is at top deat center is performed excellently. |
