PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of noise induced by water hammering by installing a hot water supply amount valve to the upper stream side of a hot water supply pipe, and a water level detection means to a cistern, and controlling the degree of opening/closing of said hot water amount valve in conformity with the water level in the cistern which varies with the change in a specified water level. CONSTITUTION:A hot water solenoid valve 81 is opened when it is necessary to fill a bath tub with hot water or add hot water. Then, a three way valve 62 is opened so as to communicate a cistern 60 with a circulation pump 63. The circulation pump 63 is driven to supply hot water to a bath tub B. When the injection amount of hot water exceeds the supply amount of the circulation pump 63, the water level rises gradually so that it may overflow. However, when a water level detection means installed to the cistern 60 detects that the water has reached the zone of D, the hot water solenoid valve is closed. When the water level has reached the zone of B, the valve is closed and a hot water supply valve 26 is throttled so as to reduce the injection amount of hot water to the cistern 60 by 0.5l/min, which minimizes the difference between the injection amount and the supply amount of hot water, thereby inhibiting a rise in the water level. This inhibits and finally prevents the closing of the hot water solenoid 81, thereby preventing the generation of noise induced by water hammering. |
