PURPOSE:To provide paper supply equipment for permitting automatically and securely return from hand-supplied paper condition to cassette-supplied one. CONSTITUTION:In hand-supplied paper mode, when a copy starting switch 32 is turned on, a control section 31 receiving the signal from the switch advances flow F1 F3 F6 F7 F4 to operate an elctromagnet 26 while starting copying operation after a predetermined delay time required for return. When said electromagnet 26 is operated, an end of a stop 22 pivots downward against a spring 24 to be released from an engaging section 21. Thus, an operating lever 18 retreats urging a manual guide 10 with return force of a spring 19 in the direction opposite to that of paper supply and returns to the cassette-supplied paper condition shown in the drawing. Then, a projection 20 of the operating lever 18 is separated from a mode detecting switch 25 so that the output of cassette-supplied paper mode signal is sent to the control section 31 to change over the hand-supplied paper mode to the cassette- supplied paper mode to the cassette-supplied one. |
