<p>PURPOSE:To shorten recovery time after error by providing a data invalid indication to a multiplexion part receiving an update request and resetting a transmission buffer. CONSTITUTION:The update request transmitted from the other party is entered through a reception buffer memory 15 to a data separation part 16, and passed to a device control part 17 after separated here. The device control part 17 receiving this operates a switch SW to be switched from interframe prediction coding to intraframe coding, simultaneously, resets a buffer memory part 14 to discard stored data, further, provides the invalid indication to a data multiplex part 13 to discard the data until the intraframe data are transmitted, and indicates the multiplexion clearly at the same time as the intraframe data arrive. Thus, the reception side is quickly recovered at the time of occurring error.</p> |
