PURPOSE:To reproduce colors with high fidelity by making the color of a part overlapped with display outputs light by adjusting the colors of the display outputs. CONSTITUTION:An ink jet printer 20 receives a picture data or a printing data from a host computer 1 and stores the data in an input buffer 3. When colors are overlapped, an overlap adjust processing part 9 executes a processing such as thinning-out, etc. Namely, since various colors are prevented from being overlapped and outputted at the same picture element position by thinning out the picture elements at the part overlapped with pictures, the color of that part is made light. Thus, the color can be reproduced with high fidelity. |
