PURPOSE:To assure that developer is passed through each hole of a sheet metal by making the constitution so that the developer carrier is pressurized through a porous sheet metal. CONSTITUTION:An opening 13a of a housing 13 of this device 10 is covered by a metal mesh member 14 consisting of the bendable and conductive porous sheet metal with a great number of holes formed on it. The lower edge part of the member 14 is attached to a lower edge part of the opening 13a, and an upper edge part is fixed along an upper edge part of the opening 13a so that it makes a pressurized contact with a periphery surface of a developing roll 11. Then, the developer is sequencially carried by a feeding roll 12 to the member 14 side, pressurized by the roll 12, electrified to negative polarity by specified electric field, sunctioned to the roll 11 side, and passed through the mesh of the member 14. The developer passed through the member 14 is carried to an abutting range with a photosensitive body drum by rotation of the roll 11. |
