PURPOSE:To enable a great volume of multihalogenated organic compound to be branched by causing the multihalogenated organic compound solution to be continuously self-decomposed by the action of superoxide producing agent under the presence of electron donative compound. CONSTITUTION:When a superoxide producing agent having low oxidized potential acts on multihalogenized organic compound solution under the presence of electron donative compound having lone pair electrons, the solution is automatically continuously decomposed under the room temperature. The electron donative compound having the lone pair electrons is pyridine, methanol, ethanol or the like. Also, in a method for causing superoxide forming compound to act under the presence of a chain transfer agent having a small chain transfer constant, at least two kinds of chain transfer agents are used. Then, pyridine, dioxane, polyethylene glycol, n-butylamine or the like is used for the chain transfer agent. There are other methods in which the superoxide producing agent is used under the coexistence of n-butylamine and electron donative compound having lone pair electrons and the superoxide forming compound acts under the coexistence of the superoxide producing agent and at least two kinds of chain transfer agents having small chain transfer constant. |
