PURPOSE:To enable a record to be regenerated by a semiconductor laser long in wavelength, improve stability to storage and regenerated light and enhance recording density by incorporating a specific compound in an organic thin film formed on a base plate by solvent coating method. CONSTITUTION:The compounds represented by the formula I is contained in the organic thin film of an optical information recording medium consisting of an organic thin film formed directly on a base plate or via an under coating layer by solvent coating method and a protective layer formed thereon as required. In the formula I, R1-R4 represent alkyl group having 1-6 substituted or unsubstituted carbon atoms, R5 and R6 represent hydrogen atom and alkyl group having 1-6 substituted or unsubstituted carbon atoms, alkoxy group or halogen atom and X<-> represents acid anion. This optical information recording medium is capable of effecting a highly sensitive printing and regeneration even by using a long wavelength laser and excellent in stability to storage and regenerated light. Also, since the recording layer can be formed by solvent application, this can be manufactured at low costs. |
