<p>PURPOSE:To miniaturize the size of a device whereas having a high rate of removal by a method wherein the exhaust gas containing the reaction products having the acid gas in the exhaust gas neutralized and absorbed therein is made to pass through a bag filter having a specific density at a specific rate and the bag filter is subjected to pulse jet back washing in a specific air condition. CONSTITUTION:The exhaust gas whose temp. is reduced to a value of 120-250 deg.C in a desuperheater 1 is sent through a duct 3 into a reaction dust collector 6. Jets of a neutralizing absorbent are directed against the exhaust gas from a spray nozzle 5 provided at an intermediate part along the duct 3, so that the neutralizing absorbent will not become less equivalent than the acid gas in the exhaust gas other than NOx, whereby the neutralization and absorption take place upon gas-phase contact with the acid gas in the exhaust gas. The reaction dust collector 6 consists of the fiber of 3-20mum in diameter and is packed with a bag filter having a placing density of 200-1000g/m<2>, through which the exhaust gas containing reaction products is passed at a filtration rate of 0.6-1.8m/minute. The bag filter is subjected to pulse jet back washing with the air in an amt. of 0.2-5l/minute and under a pressure of 0.1-7kg/cm<2>.</p> |
