<p>PURPOSE:To make use of a space part effectively to thereby form an intake structure compactly by mounting a supercharger, the bypass passage of the supercharger, the bypass passage of an intercooler, and a common passage part, in the space between the banks of a V-type six cylinder engine. CONSTITUTION:In a V-type six cylinder engine, there are two banks 13, 14 each having three cylinders, and an intake passage 2 is branched out into two parts downstream of an intercooler 5 so as to form passages 2a, 2b, which are connected to manifolds 15, 16 for the respective banks 13, 14. A common passage part 9 is extended along a vertical direction where the banks 13, 14 are extended, and the inside thereof is separated into two passage parts 9a, 9b by a bulkhead 19. Two intercooler bypass passage 8 of the intercooler 5 are provided for the respective banks 13, 14 and substantially branched out symmetrically from the passage parts 9a, 9b in the horizontal direction to be connected to intake passages 2a, 2b. A supercharger 4 is arranged in a space formed between the two banks 13 and 14 so as to in the vertical direction, and the common passage part 9 is provided on the upper part of the supercharger 4.</p> |
