COATED FABRIC AND PREPARATION THEREOF

PURPOSE:To prepare the processed fabric exhibiting a good contamination- preventing effect by decomposing a dye in the coating film of a coating- processed polyester fiber fabric dyed with a disperse dye to a specific concentration to prevent the transfer of the dye. CONSTITUTION:In a coated polyester fiber fabric dyed with a disperse dye, the disperse dye transferred into the coating film during a film-forming process is decomposed or removed to a dye concentration of <=1X10<-3>g/g of the resin e.g. by employing a reducing agent or oxidizing agent or by irradiating electron beams and simultaneously the resin coating film is crosslinked (e.g. the resin- coating process is divided into two steps and a crosslinking agent is applied to the coating film in either of the two step) to inhibit the transfer of the dye, thereby improving the contamination of the fabric.
