<p>PURPOSE:To improve the operability by enabling all the information processing to be operated with a single hand by operating a selection operating means with the thumb, and designating the execution or interruption of a selection result by performing an operation with another finger. CONSTITUTION:A rotary switch 3 changing circularly sequentially by operating rotatably the cursor of a liquid crystal display part 2 is provided almost in the center part of the side plane on one side of an electronic note 1. Execution and interruption keys 4, 5 comprised of push switches are provided on the side plane on the other side. Keys are arranged at positions easy to operate with the thumb, the forefinger, and the middle finger, respectively in a state where the electronic note 1 is held with the left hand. The cursor is aligned with the position of a menu item on a main menu picture by operating the rotary switch 3 for three times, and after that, a menu is pulled down by depressing the execution key 4, and a desired item can be displayed.</p> |
