<p>PURPOSE:To easily operate a controller while lying on a bed by pulling out the wiring connected to a planar heating element in a mat on a pedestal to the lower section of the pedestal from nearly the center section in the width direction of the pedestal, and connecting it to the controller arranged on the side face of the pedestal. CONSTITUTION:A mat 4 storing a planar heating element 3 is installed on a pedestal 2, and a controller 5 for controlling the excitation of the planar heating element 3 is arranged on one side face of the pedestal 2. The wiring 36 for the planar heating element 3 is inserted into a through hole 2a formed at nearly the center section in the width direction of the pedestal 2 from one side end of the planar heating element 3, and it is pulled out to the lower section of the pedestal 2 and connected to the controller 5. The controller 5 can be extracted from the side face of a bed and moved to the upper section of the mat 4, and it can be used as a manually operable remote control switch. The controller 5 can easily be operated while a person lies on the bed.</p> |
