PURPOSE:To obtain the subject compound in high yield by reacting an olefin compound with carbon monoxide under a specific condition in the presence of hydrogen fluoride and boron trifluoride followed by reacting with an aromatic compound, in reacting an aromatic compound, an olefin compound and carbon monoxide. CONSTITUTION:An aromatic compound, an olefin compound and carbon monoxide are used as raw materials, and at first, olefin compound is subjected to react with carbon monoxide in the presence of hydrogen fluoride and boron trifluoride under a pressure of <=100kg/cm<2>G, preferably 20-80kg/cm<2>G at a reaction temperature of 5-70 deg.C, preferably 20-50 deg.C. Next, boron trifluoride is absorbed into the resultant synthetic solution of acyl fluoride. As a method of the absorption, e.g. BF3 is blown into a feeding pipe for the synthetic solution. Then, the resultant system is made to react with an aromatic compound (toluene or naphthalene, etc.) to afford the objective compound. Using amount of acyl fluoride per the aromatic compound is preferably 1.0-0.8 times mol. |
