PURPOSE:To improve superconducting characteristics without carrying out high-temp. heat treatment by press molding a specified oxide superconductor powder into a desired form. CONSTITUTION:Source powders for one kind of oxide superconductor selected from Y-Ba-Cu-O, Bi-Pb-Sr-Cu-O, Ti-Ba-Ca-Cu-O, etc., are mixed by a specified weight ratio, to which a binder such as an epoxy resin, etc., is further added if necessary. Then the mixture is molded by uniaxial pressing or hydrostatic pressing into a desired form to obtain the oxide superconductor. |
