PURPOSE:To easily correct the rotation and position shift of the image without requiring an extremely long time nor large-scale hardware by calculating coordinates of a point in a 1st storage device corresponding to each point on a scanning line in a 2nd storage device and generating an address to be supplied to the 1st storage means. CONSTITUTION:The X and Y coordinates of the point on the 1st storage device 11 corresponding to the origin of the 2nd storage device are used as initial value, a 1st coefficient calculated from an angle of rotation is added to the initial value in order every time a scan is made to calculate the X and Y coordinates of the point on the 1st storage means corresponding to each start point of scanning on the 2nd storage device 12, and a 2nd coefficient calculated from the angle of rotation is added to the X and Y coordinate of the start point in order. Then the coordinates of a point on the 1st storage device 11 corresponding to each point on a scanning line on the 2nd storage device 12 to supply the address to the 1st storage device 11. Therefore, the corresponding coordinates is calculated by single-time addition respectively. Consequently, the rotation and position shift of the image can be corrected with a small calculation quantity. |
