MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND CENTRALIZED MANAGEMENT UNIT FOR COPYING MACHINE

PURPOSE:To allow the sure data collection and centralized management of the respective copying machine managing devices by changing the time zone of the fixed time signal transmission of the copying machine managing devices when the fixed time signal transmission time of a certain copying machine managing device is set in the time zone where the connection to the centralized management unit is difficult. CONSTITUTION:Whether the arrival of the signal from the copying machine managing device is detected or not is decided at the fixed time signal transmission time of the arbitrary copying machine managing device managed by the centralized management unit. The result of the decision is adopted as the data for computating the frequency at which the fixed time signal transmission is not executed at the fixed time signal transmission date and time concerning the copying machine managing device. The next fixed time signal transmission date and time of the copying machine managing device are set according to this frequency. The next fixed time signal transmission date and time data set in such a manner is transmitted to the copying machine managing device. The probability that the copying machine managing device cannot be connected to the centralized management unit at the center at the fixed time signal transmission date and time is gradually decreased in this way and, therefore, the collection of the data of the respective copying machine managing devices and further the centralized management thereof are surely executed.
