PURPOSE:To reduce moire by providing an interpolating means which interpolates a binary picture transformed by providing a coordinate transforming means into a multi-level picture and a binarizing means to executes a binarizing processing for preserving density based on the multi-level picture interpolated by the interpolating means. CONSTITUTION:According to an obtained parameter, a CPU 82 successively executes coordinate transformation, interpolation processing and binarizing processing for preserving density while accessing a picture memory 86. When the respective processings are completed, the transformed picture is displayed on a display part 87 again, and binary data stored in the picture memory are transmitted to a printing part 88 so as to print the picture when the transformation is completed. According to the transmitted binary data, the printing part 88 executes printing. In this way, the picture is outputted and this operation is completed. Thus, picture quality can be improved while reducing the moire generated in the case of a picture to which a pseudo half tone processing is executed. |
