PURPOSE:To obtain the subject apparatus capable of preventing clogging accidents with steam and sufficiently stirring and compressing rice bran by connectedly providing specific rodlike members and forming a sleeve so as to enable leaking out of a gas produced in the sleeve. CONSTITUTION:The objective apparatus, having a screw shaft 22 internally installed in a sleeve 9 equipped with a feed port 13 and a discharge port 15, a resistor 14 simultaneously secured to the end on the discharge side of the aforementioned screw shaft 22 and capable of compressing rice bran and heat- treating the rice bran in the sleeve 9. In the aforementioned apparatus, a gas produced in the aforementioned sleeve 9 can be leaked out and plural rodlike members parallel to the above-mentioned screw shaft 22 are annularly and connectedly provided to form the sleeve 9. Furthermore, the aforementioned rodlike members are preferably composed of polygonal rods having tilted surfaces directing to the center of the sleeve 9 to the above-mentioned screw shaft 22 in an optional surface thereof. |
