PURPOSE:To reduce the detection time for the occurrence and restoration of a fault of a state of a line by arranging a fault indication master bit and a fault restoration master bit corresponding to a line group and combining the both. CONSTITUTION:A line having a fault is decided from the result of AND between an indication content A of a line state indication table 2 and inverse of an indication content B of a line state master table 3, the result is displayed on a line fault occurrence indication table 4-l, the indication content is ORed in a line group, a fault occurrence location in the unit of the line group is decided and is indicated on a line group fault occurrence detection indication table 4-2. Moreover, the indication content of a line fault restoration indication table 5-1 is ORed in the line group to decide the fault restoration location in the unit of the line group and the result is indicated on a line group fault restoration detection indication table 5-2. Since indication of the tables 4-2 and 5-2 are ORed by a line group state change indication table 6. Since the state of the fault or restoration is referenced in the unit of line group, as the capacity of the accommodated line is large, the detection time of the line fault/restoration is reduced. |
