<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a disc brake which has a small weight by fixing a cylinder side member to a claw side member by means of bolts on both sides of a cylinder, and constructing a caliper supported in an axial direction of a disc to a non-rotational part of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A pair of claw side abutting parts 35 are located on the side of a cylinder side member 22 in respect to a disc 22, and extended to a center side of the disc 22. First and second screw holes 40, 40 and 41, 41 extending in an axial direction of the disc 22 are formed on the paired claw side abutting parts 35 parallelly to a line connecting centers of the disc 22 and a cylinder 31. First and second through-holes are formed on a cylinder side abutting part 34 of the cylinder side member 32 correspondingly to the positions of the first and second screw holes 40, 40 and 41, 41 along an axial direction of the disc 22. The cylinder side member is fixed to the claw side member 37 to form a two-piece type caliper 28 by inserting first and second bolts 38, 38 and 39, 39 into the first and second through-holes, respectively and tightening.</p> |
