<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a super-thin type transformer by a method wherein at least either of the primary coil and the secondary coil of sheet-like insulating conductor provided on the core of a transformer, is reformed into a sheet-coil, and the size in the longitudinal direction of the leg of the core is made short considerably. CONSTITUTION:A primary coil 1 and a secondary coil 2 are composed of a sheet coil consisting of a flat coil-shaped conductor formed on a sheet-like insulator. The above-mentioned sheet coil is formed using a printed wiring board as a material, for example, and a coil, on which a conductor is flatly wound, is formed on the insulator. Pertaining to a core 3, a core member 3a having two-leg core leg 31 or three-leg core leg 32 and consisting of silicon steel plate or ferrite, and a tabular core member 3b of the same quality as the above-mentioned material can be used advantageously.</p> |
