PURPOSE:To provide a shoe sole which is excellent in shock absorption, exhibits good warping ability and is light-weighted and to improve the productivity by disposing a sheet between a shoe sole core made of highly foamed material and a main sole, and filling up even plural holes which pierce the sheet and the shoe sole core with material of the main sole. CONSTITUTION:A heel core 1 made of highly foamed material is fitted extending from the heel portion of the lower surface of an upper skin 2 through a shank portion to the rear end portion of a sole portion, and a hard sheet 11 is fitted to the whole of the lower surface of the heel core 1. The heel core 1 and the sheet 11 are previously stacked, and they are cut according to the dimensions and shape of the lower surface of the upper skin 2. After that, piercing holes 4 are bored in the core and the sheet. After the heel core 1 and the sheet 11 where the piercing holes are bored and fitted to the lower surface of the upper skin 2, they are hung in the last mold. After that, when the mold is incorporated in a main sole forming mold and main sole material is injected to form the main sole, gaps 5 are formed in the upper portion of the interiors of the through holes 3, and the lower portions of the gaps 5 are filled with sole material 3. Thus, shock can be absorbed favorably, the durability of a shoe sole can be improved, and the productivity of shoe soles can be improved remarkably. |
