PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF POLYESTER FILM

The polymerising material for polyester film is prepd. by dispersing an inactive inorganic fine particle, and poly(methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride) copolymer of powder type as a dispersing agent and polymerising with diacid component. The dispersing agent is 0.05-2 wt.% w.r.t. glycol. Pref. the inactive inorganic fine particle is selected from calsium carbonate, Kaoline or barium sulfate. In this process, the dispersing property is improved, and then fish-eye in the film is removed, and the problem of drop-out is solved.
