A four wheel drive device comprises a central differencial gear receiving engine power from the transmission, a viscous coupling controlling the torque of both rear and front wheels according to the load of them, and both rear and front wheel differencials providing both wheels with torque fromthe central differential. The viscous coupling is placed on the central part of the shaft of the front wheel differential. A hollow shaft, rotatably mounted on the shaft of the front wheel differential, is integral with the vessel body of the viscous coupling, which is positioned between the central differencial and front wheel differential.
