Absorbent sanitary towel that uses as a covering an absorbent medium of non-fabric fibre mesh (non-woven) with defined composition and characteristics. This particular sanitary towel uses as encasing material absorbent medium fibre mesh produced with hydraulic agglutination of non-absorbent synthetic fibres based on a specific technique method that leads to geometrically arranged perforations that act as one way valves as sketched in diagrams A and B. The final product constitutes a single-use sanitary towel achieving good functional results satisfying to a large degree the basic functional collaboration parameters between the encasing material and the absorbent medium. At the same time it successfully establishes a good dry surface as it withholds fluid from the surface in contact with human skin, which has been proven through the recognised testing methods (drop absorbency time, liquid penetration test, surface dryness test) under different liquid penetration conditions, while it provides to the user a feeling of total comfort in the contact area between the skin and the tested product. |
