This is an electrical switch of the type including a conductor rocker (12) mounted so as to rock in a body (11), with, for acting on it, a control knob (14) itself including, on the one hand, an operating finger (15), which, movable with respect to the body (11), is available to the user, and, on the other hand, a drive element (16), which, subjected to the movement of the operating finger (15), is mounted so as to pivot on the body (11) and bears on the conductor rocker (12). According to the invention, the operating finger (15) of the control knob (14) bears freely on the drive element (16) at a point (18) on the latter which is offset longitudinally with respect to its pivoting axis (A1).
