<p>The double glazing frame has a plastics profile (1) along one edge which is fixed to the existing window frame to form a hinge, and a plastics profile (2) along its three other edges. The profiles hold glass panes (41,42), include a pane spacer and seal (43,44) and have seals (14,23) all around the face of the profile, turned towards the existing window frame. One profile (2) has notch (21) in its back that takes a plastics cam head (3) of a catch that has a metal core screwed to the frame. The cam squeezes the profile firmly to the window.</p> |
