PURPOSE:To effectively utilize the radio wave by constituting the receiver so that a call signal is sent to a master receiver having a transmitting function in plural receivers, and the master receiver generates a call signal registered in advance by a signal whose frequency is different from that of the called signal, and informs a fact that the call is executed to plural slave receivers being in the vicinity of itself. CONSTITUTION:A transmitting place 10 transmits a selective calling signal S1 to each radio selective calling receiver 20. The radio selective calling receiver 20 has a function of a master receiver for slave receivers 30a-30c, as well. The master receiver 20 receives a radio selective calling signal transmitted by a first radio frequency and informs it to a holder in the case an ID shown by the signal coincides with the own ID registered in advance, and also, a CPU 26 transmits a group ID signal by a second radio frequency from a transmitting antenna 28 by a transmitting part 29 in the case a group ID transmitting request is contained in the radio selective calling signal transmitted by a first radio frequency. The slave receiver 30 receives the group ID signal transmitted by a second radio frequency and informs it to a holder in the case it coincides with the own group ID registered in advance.
