Water is circulated through a radiator panel (2) with vertical tubes (6) linking upper and lower horizontal tu tubes (4,5) with connections (14,15) to the ends of a through-flow tubular heater (9) surrounded over most of its length by the coil (10). Heating current is supplied through a cable (17) from a mains plug and time switch (21). A controller (18) can be set to a selected heating level by means of a hand wheel (19). The appts. can be run in isolation with low heat losses during transitional periods. ADVANTAGE - Long-term operational reliability is guaranteed without risk of scaling.
