<p>PURPOSE:To securely perform program searchable reproducing by counting the number of reel pulses to be detected by a reel pulse detecting means under a rewinding mode and shifting the mode to a reproducing mode of a recording medium at the time of counting a prescribed number of reel pulses and also at the time of detecting a recording starting part. CONSTITUTION:At the time of the rewinding mode under program searchable reproducing, the reel pulse is detected by the reel pulse detecting means 15, and the detected number of reel pulses is counted by a counting means. A control for shifting to the reproducing mode of the recording medium is performed by a mechanism control means 12 when the number of reel pulses counted by the counting means reaches a preset prescribed number and also when a recording starting part is detected by a recording starting detection means 16. By this method, the program searchable reproducing can securely be performed, while such a failure that an introsearch is canceled by mistake is dissolved.</p> |
