DETECTION OF OBJECT BURIED UNDERGROUND

PURPOSE:To enable the detecting of the existence of an object buried underground by burying a sensor with an insulation conductor arranged closely inside into the soil above an object buried to actuate an alarm with a disconnection of the insulation conductor. CONSTITUTION:An alarm sheet 2 is buried into the soil 34 above a buried pipe 1 between a pavement 30 and the buried pipe 1 and an alarm 5 is supplied with a power and a fine current flows through an insulation conductor 4 of the sheet 2 through a cable 6 to energize a relay of the device 5 electrically. Under such a condition, when the pavement 30 is cut and broken to carry out repairs of roads with a concrete cutter, pavement breaking machine or the like, with the cutting of the sheet 2 by the cutter or the like, the conductor 4 arranged closely inside the sheet 2 is cut and connection of a relay of the device 5 breaks to turn ON an alarm buzzer circuit, which actuates an alarm buzzer to light an alarm lamp. This enables a worker to learn the existence and the type of the buried pipe 1 under the working site immediately.
