Outlet valve system for radial reciprocating pumps - has parallel spring strips which close alternate outlet orifices in two radial planes

The pump housing (1) has several cylinder bores (6) for plungers (7). The bores are plugged by inserts (13) with outlet orifices (15) which are closed by a band-shaped vlave element consisting of two spring strips (16,16A) located side by side. The outlet (15,15A) are staggered so that only every alternate orifice is covered by the same spring strip (16,16A). Each insert (13) has a cross bar (17) which serves as a guide fro the spring strips (16,16a). USE/ADVANTAGE - Cheap to produce; prevents piston interaction due to premature overflow of pressurised oil from adjacent outlet orifices.
