To give a dosed supply of a fluid material, esp. molten metal held in a pressure sealed vessel, the vessel is constantly under a controlled pressure so that, independently of the actual volume of metal in the container, the level in the rising tube is at a constant gap from the signal generator before delivery. ADVANTAGE - The system delivers a precise dosed vol. of the molten metal, irregardless of how much is held in the vessel, or the shape of the container.
