PURPOSE:To simply modify a processed product of polyamide and to obtain the title polyamide by treating a polyamide by plasma in the presence of a specific benzen ring-containing compound. CONSTITUTION:A polyamide (fiber, film, etc., comprising nylon 66, etc.) shown by formula I or formula II (R1 and R2 may contain phenylene; n is >=50) is treated by plasma in the presence of a benzene ring-containing compound replaced with OH, CH3, NH2, CHO, NO2, SO3H, COOH or a substituent group containing these functional groups at one or more positions to give the objective polyamide wherein H bonded to C<1> and/or C<2> in the polyamide shown by formula I or formula II is replaced with the benzen ring-containing compound. |
