PURPOSE:To easily find out all the latest improvement levels of the kind of the copying machine by making a connection with the storage medium where control data on the copying machine are stored and accurately recognizing the set stage of the copying machine. CONSTITUTION:When the storage medium is connected, the control data of the storage medium are read out. Further, the state data on the copying machine are read out of a storage means. Those are put together by a data processing means to generate data for displaying a display means. The a message which shows the control data (data showing a list of improved components, etc., put on the market) from the past to the present of the equipment kind is displayed. Consequently, the storage medium where the control data are updated every time the copying machine is improved is connected to the copying machine and all the improvement points of the equipment kind from the past to the present and the current setting state of the copying machine can easily be known. Consequently, even when servicemen is relieved, the maintenance of the copying machine can be performed. |
