PURPOSE:To make a camera suitable for everybody and have a high function by executing the selection of an exposing controlling mode and the display of an exposing controlling information corresponding to the camera knowledge of a camera user. CONSTITUTION:This camera is grouped by a first exposing controlling mode group which is suitable for a person having the little knowledge of the camera, and a second exposing controlling mode group which is suitable for the person having the camera knowledge more than a certain extent. And when the first exposing controlling mode is selected, an exposing correction scale is not displayed on an external display unit 7 and on a finder screen. For example, and ISO setting mark ISO is provided on a main dial 5 other than respective exposing mode marks, and on the surface of the main dial 5, two mark groups are provided while making a display mark LOCK a boundary. Thus, the camera which is suitable for everybody and has the high function can be obtained. |
