PURPOSE:To enhance low temperature fixability and offset resistance and to prevent abrasion of a photosensitive body and unsharpening of an image by developing an electrostatic latent image formed on the amorphous silicon photosensitive layer of a photosensitive body with a toner using a specified block or graft copolymer as a binder resin. CONSTITUTION:The electrostatic latent image formed on the photosensitive body 1 provided with the amorphous silicon photosensitive layer 4 is developed with the toner using as the binder resin the block or graft copolymer obtained by chemically combining 3 - 50 pts.wt. of a crystalline polyester with 97 - 50 pts.wt. of an ion-crossinked amorphous vinyl polymer and this binder resin has a chloroform-insoluble fraction of 3 - 10 wt.%, thus permitting lower temperature fixability and offset resistance to be both enhanced, abrasion of a photosensitive body to be effectively prevented, and sharp good images to be formed stably in a large number of times without unsharpening images. |
