PURPOSE:To carry out appropriate brake force control conforming with every brake system and to realize flexible modification of characteristics with no ifluence on the other brake force pattern by operating electric and pneumatic brake force pattern independently. CONSTITUTION:Upon receiving a brake operation command from a normal brake command 1, a pneumatic brake force pattern operating circuit 3a and an electric brake force operating circuit 3b operate a pneumatic brake force pattern and an electric brake force pattern, respectively, according to the load. Consequently, an electric brake force generator 6 feeds an electric brake force coppresonding to the command back to a pneumatic-to-electric operation circuit 8. The circuit 8 subtracts an actual electric brake force feedback signal from a pneumatic brake force pattern signal 4, the difference is then amplified through an amplifying circuit 9 and fed to a pneumatic-to-electric conversion valve 11 which produces a pneumatic pressure. The pneumatic pressure is fed to a brake cylinder 12 which pushes a brake shoe 13 against the tread of wheel. |
